Tentative Agreement Reached

 

On Thursday evening the Union and Company reached an agreement on a new 3-year contract.

The highlights of the new agreement include:

·      Improved bereavement language

·      3rd week of vacation after 6 years

·      Day-at-a time vacation (2 weeks instead of 1)

·      Higher Classification language

·      Hourly Employee Pensions increases

·      Long-Term Disability (from 12 to 18 months)

·      POS Medical Plan changes – add out-of network for Mental Health and Substance Abuse    No Lifetime Maximum

·      General Wage Increase of 2% in years 1, 2 and 3 for a total of 6% over the 3 years.
